Flying falcons to the lure
This is a video taken this winter showing the daily routine of Brian flying falcons to the lure.
....four falcons found new homes
The four falcons referred to in the previous Blog have been purchased so are no longer for sale.
Brian is now getting everything ready for the EVR falcons to lay more eggs starting in April. The pairs have already started to get cozy with each other and making a start at putting a nest together on the nesting ledge provided for them.
Brian reckons that the falcons will produce from 6 to 14 eggs this year.
We will keep you up to date on the progress at the Mews

Change of plans
We had four fine gyrfalcons destined for Scotland but alas, due to unforseen circumstances,
The two shown together, brother and sister, are relatively dark in colour and will probably produce black falcons if paired right. The other photo is of a another fine gyrfalcon.
The fourth gyrfalcon is in the same Mews but I was unable to get a photo of it.
If there are any falconers looking in who are interested in these birds please do let us know.
If you want to see a larger picture just click on the photo.
